Teresa of Johnstown, PA November 24, 2009 We bought 50.00 worth of microsoft points to buy a downloadable game from Xbow 360 live. The game freezes at a certain point and has to be shut down. Called Xbox and we keep getting a run around. This has been going on for 2 weeks now. They say the game says non-refundable but we feel the game should aleast work. We are just wanting the 50.00 worth of points back which can only be spent on Xbox anyway. alesha of los angeles, CA November 24, 2009 I was one of the first one to get an xbox 360, I was in line at 3:30 a.m. and I felled lucky to get one. Me and my son are true gamers I have every system made but playstation 3 I'm scary to get that one. The reason for that is that after I got the three rings of death I hate the xbox 360 into the a new game came out, I call to get it repaired. They send me a new one and it scraped ring all over my new game 60.00 fresh from the store. I was so mad that I put the 360 deep in my closet and didn't think about it for a couple of mouths. The reason was I paid 399.00 plus tax, warranty 80 something dollars, plus 89.00 for another year of warranty, which is a total of 628.00 for a game to this day that don't work, but I have a playstaion the I bought over ten years ago that works just fine. And the three year warranty that was really a six mouth warranty for me, was a joke I just found out today that I was suppose to my warranty money back that I didn't get back the first one or the second one. I really don't think it is right for use to keep paying money when the 360 doesn't work. I would have to pay 120.00 to get it fix when it didn't work when they send it back. Just is not right. Timika of saint louis, MO November 21, 2009 My husband and I bought a refurbished xbox 360 for out son from gamestop on 11.14.09. When we got home to hook it up the power supply which has 3 prong did not match up with power cord. So we took it back to game stop that same day and they called customer support. They were not very helpful but in the end agreed to send us the equipment since it was a hiccup on their part. They said that it should take 3 to 5 business days to ship. So we should receive it on the 18th or 20th of november. The manager at gamestop also asked them if they could give us anything for our inconvience and they laughed and said that that was impossible. I have yet to receive the equipment. I called today 11.21.09 and they stated that it was shipped out on 11.17.09. and that I should receive it on the 23rd or 24th of November. Brian of Hayward, CA November 19, 2009 Buy a 360. Play for Two weeks. Have it E74. Try repair service. Start by simply printing a label = fail... Call support. Drop call 3 times. Deal with non-friendly support team. Attempt walkthrough with printing label = fail. Label will be shipped to me. Wait more than one week for label to be shipped to me. Furbish my own box out of my own time to send back. Drive to UPS store. Wait more than three weeks. Get xbox returned... with a letter. "EXCLUSIONS FROM LIMITED WARRANTY." = xbox not repaired = fail. Write threatening emails. Deal with a team of morons. Xbox 360 = FAIL. Lynne of Ashville, OH November 16, 2009 I bought an xbox 360 December 2008 for my son as a Christmas gift. We had to exchange it in January as it did not work and was within 30 days of purchase. He had to send it for repairs July 2008. He has had numerous problems with it reading discs since that time and has made may calls to support. The xbox finally will not ready any discs as of yesterday and was told he was out of warranty. I am very unhappy with this gaming system as my son is too. I will purchase another system for him but not this. I've looked online to file a complaint with Microsoft as if they would care, but can't seem to find where to send it. Linda of San Diego, CA November 16, 2009 Xbox 360 elite "resident evil" edition was sent in for repairs under warrenty on 10/11. Two weeks later, we recieved an xbox 360 Pro. On 10/31 we returned the Pro (at the direction of Xbox) and was told, once they recieved it, ours would be shipped. Many, many calls later and we still have no idea when or if ours will be returned. Evidently, they can not find the original console and do not have a "resident evil" edition to replace it. This company is terrible. Tobie of Barberton, South Africa November 15, 2009 I purchased my first Xbox in October 2007. Directly after buying the XBox, I had to return it to the store, and have it exchanged, as the CD tray did not open. The exchanged concole(also a ne console taken out of the packaging in the store) also started giving problems similar to the problem I now have, and after alot of fighting and hassles, it was exchanged - once again a new console was taken out of the packaging and given to me. In October this year, I again started having problems with the Xbox, such as the disk being unreadable, freezing, messages saying the disk must be cleaned, etc. When reporting in to XBOX in South Africa, they said that they are not going to exchange the console, due to the fact that the Warranty exceeding the 12 months or 90 days, which ever is applicable. Now the problem with this is that I am expected to pay more than 1000ZAR to receive a new console. According to me all new consoles carry a 12 month warranty, which means that when the new console was received from the stores where purchased, and please note, this is not a refurbished console, on the 10th of December 2008, it means that the warranty should only expire on the 10th of December 2009. The Xbox returned to Xbox was not returned, and no refurbished console was received in its place. The new console received was taken out of its packaging in the store, and handed over (now correct me if I am wrong, but someone else would have bought the same console) the serial numbers clearly differs, and this should in itself tell Xbox that it is not refurbished, and therefore cancells out the 90day warranty. The same principle applies when purchasing a car, and the car is exchanged within its warranty period because of major problems, now after it is exchaneged with a new model, and the same thing happens again, WHO'S LOST IS IT!! Why make #@^ if it keeps breaking!!!!! I would like to have the console exchanged or my money back. This is rediculous, and if you ask me Microsoft should have rather left stuff like this to the pro's who manufacture playstations, as I had a playstation for years, and never had a problem. kris of carrollton, GA November 14, 2009 xbox support blocked my email Morgan of Mill Valley, CA November 14, 2009 I purchased an Xbox 360 from a Toysrus store a year and a half ago. I also purchased a protection plan for 2 years. This has been the third time in 6 months my Xbox has overheated. Toysrus customer service has been very unhelpful with the process, and they have had me ship the product to the same place twice. kris of carrollton , GA November 13, 2009 my wife bought me a xbox 360 for my birthday in Feb of 2008. 13 months later i get the e74 error, not the ring of light, just one light. i call them up and they sent me a box to return my console back to them to get fixed. when i recieved my console back in june of '09 it wasnt my original console, it was a refurbished console. 4-1/2 months later in October it started not reading discs(i put the game or dvd in and tells me open tray) i email them my problem and tell me to call tech support because they cant look up the warranty info where they are at. so, i call and they tell me that my 90 day warranty expired in Sept, which i knew that. so then i told them that it was B.S. that they wont fix this console(which was not the original one i bought) so in reality, the console i have didnt even last for 5 months. the tech support guy kept trying to tell me to pay the 100 or so dollars to fix it and i would get an extra year of warranty. after awile of getting nowhere i just hung up on him. i called back the next day to file a complaint and the guy told me "you can at your own discretion" and the way he said was like he didnt give a dam. i told him that its messed up that microsoft knows about the hardware problem but only warranties the e74 or the ring of light not the hard drive. then he goes on to tell me that millions of people have a great experience and have no problems with their consoles. i then asked him, how about the handful that do have problems with theirs. then he told me that if the console is out of warranty than i will have to pay for it. so i told him that microsoft just lost, what was, a loyal customer and i was going to slander the hell out of microsoft and tell everybody who i know or dont know not to purchase a xbox360 and im going to tell them about my problem about getting screwed by them. their customer loyal aint worth a s#T just like their 360's. i just lost 300 for the console that just lights up and around 800 in games that i cant use. i also told him that i still have my PS2 and out of 7-8 yrs NEVER and i mean NEVER had 1 problem with it and it is still hooked up in my kids room. if i were to have had this xbox for atleast 3yrs then yes i wouldnt have a problem paying for it but not 2 times in 1-1/2 yrs. what kind of dam quality is that. that dude on the phone didnt give a dam about anything i was saying. he just told me "you can make a complaint at my own discretion" Report Your Experience
